KissBox

KissBox specialises in network based protocol transceivers.

KissBox transceivers provide a simple way to transmit and receive control protocol data over standard Ethernet networks with minimum and controlled latency. The protocols that KissBox supports include MIDI, DMX, RS232/422/485, linear timecode (LTC), contact closure, analog control voltage and many more.

Integration

A typical KissBox control system consists of one or more KissBoxes, an Ethernet network and a controller. The controller can be any type of IP based software or hardware, including Pharos Designer controllers. While communication with KissBox would usually be via TCP or UDP based IP control protocols (e.g. RTP-MIDI, ArtNet, Modbus), or the company’s simple KISS-IP protocol, Pharos has created an IO Module that controls the KissBox IO3CC and IO8CC units directly. The Pharos IO Module has been tested internally, and on live project, to ensure an optimum experience and streamline your integrated system.
